Food for the Holidays part2

So, back in the Philippines we always have my mom's homemade ham during Christmas dinner. Its a whole or if money is tight just half of pork leg marinated with vinegar, soy sauce, lots of garlic, whole black pepper, bay leaves, pineapple juice, sugar if pineapple juice is unsweetened and pineapple slices. Yummm. that would be the food star of the night. It is cooked slowly for at least 4 hours until it is so tender. I love how my mother do it with the pineapple slices on top of the meat
and like some syrup from the marinade as base.
I am gonna let you see a picture of it on the next blog because now i have to see how to include picture in here, lol. Hey, bear with me.. my first blog, u know. ;-)
